研究典藏
本館以「立基在地、面向國際」的精神，關注20世紀以來的現當代藝術與視覺文化發展，透過深入議題之研究、出版、講演及策展，梳理在地藝術文化脈絡，連結國際脈動，典藏具時代性之關鍵作品與藝術檔案，與全民共用、共享。
Driven by the ethos of “rooted locally, oriented globally,” NTCAM, focuses on the developments of modern and contemporary art and visual culture since the 20th century. Through comprehensive research, publications, lectures, and curatorial projects, NTCAM explores local artistic and cultural contexts, connects them to international trends, and collects significant artworks and art archives that embody the zeitgeist, ensuring they are accessible and shared with the public.

本館積極與學者專家合作研究計畫，包括調研重要藝術家、擬定典藏與策展策略、發掘重要藝術實踐、梳理多元藝術主題等，期以研究為前導，積累典藏、出版、講演、展覽之深度與廣度。
NTCAM actively works with scholars and specialists on diverse research initiatives focused on studying prominent artists, formulating collection and curatorial strategies, uncovering important artistic practices, and organizing diverse art themes. The goal is to use research to expand the range and depth of collections, publications, lectures, and exhibitions.
為詮釋新北藝術發展特色、充實臺灣藝術史脈絡、與國際連結共振，本館以學術研究為基礎，典藏20世紀以來的現代及當代藝術作品及相關重要文獻。
To highlight New Taipei’s unique artistic evolution, enrich Taiwan’s art history, and foster international connections, NTCAM bases its collections on academic research and collects modern and contemporary artworks along with significant archives from the 20th century onward.
本館與學者專家合作藝術檔案建置計畫，包括展覽史、藝術家個人史、環境藝術專題、民間藝術專題等，累積重要文獻資料，分享藝術創作與展演的多重面向。
NTCAM collaborates with academics and specialists to create art archives that include exhibition history, artist biographies, environmental art, and folk art, collecting important archival materials to showcase the diverse aspects of artistic creation and exhibitions.
